Road to Roam: Campaign Recap

A grassroots campaign for the Tarin It Up Podcast

What was Road to Roam?

This September, the Tarin It Up Podcast took the mission on the road for the final Roam Fest. The Road to Roam wasn’t just a trip to Fruita, CO, it was a grassroots content campaign built to amplify women’s voices, celebrate inclusive outdoor spaces, and spotlight the brands who made it possible.

We logged the miles, captured the stories, and connected with the community for the biggest, and most epic, femme mountain bike party in the nation. From daily travel updates to campsite conversations, the campaign lived across podcast episodes, social reels, blog posts, email newsletters, and of course, at Roam Fest itself

Why It Mattered

This was the last-ever Roam Fest. By partnering, these brands didn’t just support a road trip — they helped honor a legacy of women’s mountain biking and ensured the stories and stoke live on beyond Fruita. This weekend is beyond words to many of the attendees because of the deep connections made there.

For many attendees, this weekend was beyond words. Roam was never just about bikes — it was about community, connection, and the feeling of being fully seen in outdoor spaces. The final festival was filled with hugs, tears, dancing, laughs, sweat, dust, and miles of smiles that reminded us why this movement mattered so much in the first place.

By showing up as sponsors, these brands helped fuel that experience. Their support made it possible to capture and share those moments through podcasts, blogs, social content, and face-to-face connections at the Tarin It Up tent. Together, we didn’t just close a chapter, we created a record of the Roam spirit that will continue to inspire women long after the tents came down in Fruita.

Thanks to our flow state friends:

These brands fueled the Road to Roam journey with their support, gear, and belief in the mission.

As Flow State partners, they were:

  • Highlighted in our packing lists and trip recaps

  • Shouted out on the Tarin It Up podcast and social media

  • Integrated into blog posts, newsletters, and on site content

  • Featured in a group giveaway and/or final campaign wrap-up

Their backing helped us not only make it to Fruita but also ensure the spirit of Roam lives on through the stories we shared.

What’s Next?

Road to Roam proved what’s possible when a podcast, a community, and mission-driven brands come together. It created lasting content across podcasts, blogs, and socials, and gave us all a way to honor the final Roam Fest while carrying its spirit forward.

While Roam Fest may be over (for now), the connections and storytelling it inspired don’t end there. Tarin It Up will continue building on this momentum through new episodes, grassroots events, and collaborations that keep women’s voices and the outdoor community at the center.

This was just the beginning. Want to be part of what’s next?
