The All-In-One Holiday Gift Guide for Busy, Adventure-Loving Women
Women-led, outdoor-inspired, practical, cozy, and full of things people actually use.
Gift giving gets a whole lot easier when you know who you’re shopping for and what season of life they’re in. I’m talking things that make everyday life easier, more comfortable, more functional, or more fun. Whether your person is a fitness girlie, an outdoor lover, a small-business hustler, or someone who supports local everything, this guide is built to help you find something meaningful without spiraling over what to buy.
And if you’re wondering why this guide includes recommendations from both Tacoma and Truckee/Tahoe, it’s because those are the communities I know, love, and stay connected to. Use them as inspiration for finding your own local gems.
Let’s get into the goods.
Women-Led Apparel, Gear & Essentials
Curated gift ideas based on the kind of woman you’re shopping for — the mountain biker, the winter lover, the get-shit-done worker, the fitness girlie, and everyone in between. These brands are women-led, outdoor-forward, and ones I genuinely use, love, or have featured on the podcast.
Some of these pieces are definitely on the pricier side, but most of these women-led brands have accessories and small items too, perfect for gifting, supporting small businesses, or giving someone a little intro to a brand you love. And if you’re shopping for yourself…absolutely no judgment, go big! 😉

IRL experiences and memory makers
For the person who doesn’t want more stuff, they want memories, movement, community, or something that gets them out of their routine.
These options feel special, personal, and intentional:
Studio or gym class packs – Strength, yoga, cycling, pilates, mobility, or something new they’ve been curious about.
Outdoor activities you can do together — Snowshoe tours, cross-country ski lessons, sunrise hikes, or guided winter walks.
Coffee tasting, roastery, brewery, or winery tour — Cozy and fun.
Pottery or ceramics workshop — Make something together.
Cooking or baking class — Pasta, pizza, sushi, dumplings, etc.
Sound bath or breathwork session — Grounding, unique, and shareable.
Tickets to a local event — Film festivals, speaker series, women’s outdoor nights, or winter markets.
Local Love (Tacoma + Truckee/Tahoe)
Supporting small businesses doesn’t just feel good — it keeps communities alive. These are places I can vouch for, and they make incredible gifts, whether it’s gift cards for their services, products from them, or again, a treat yourself idea 😊.
Tacoma Locals
Oakes & Alder Day Spa – Skilled practitioners + incredible products.
Skal Cocktails - Book Hilary for holiday parties or grab her holiday bottled cocktails!
Truckee/Tahoe Locals
Ash + Honey – Hair services that feel like a reset + all the best product.
Martis Valley Massage – Massage + skincare, plus a new soaking pool, sauna, and cold plunge for the full recovery experience.
Alpinistas – Yes, again — because shopping small, women-led is the whole point.
If you're not in either town, use these as a framework: hair, massage, outdoor shops, local roasters, indie boutiques, small wellness studios.

The Real Rule of Gift Giving
Ask people what they want. It doesn’t make the gift less meaningful; it makes it more meaningful. And if something comes from the heart — handmade, thoughtfully chosen, or intentionally supportive — it’s always worth giving.
I could keep going forever with ideas, but hopefully this gives you a solid place to start and inspires something perfect for the people you love most.
