The End of an Era: What the Last Roam Fest Meant to Us
Roam Fest 2025 is officially in the books—and what a way to close out an era. From dusty desert singletrack to dance parties under the stars, this year wasn’t just about riding bikes. It was about showing up one last time for the community that’s shaped so many of us, and made a lasting impact on me, even as my first ever Roam.
As I sit down to write this final recap, I’m still buzzing. The energy of the group rides, the vendor area, and the laughter that carried across the Fruita campground. Roam was never just a festival, it was a movement, and we felt it from the first moment we arrived. While this was the last official gathering, I know the spirit will live on in all of us who were lucky enough to be there.

Stories from the Road
Road to Roam wasn’t just a road trip—it was an adventure in its own right. From Truckee to Fruita, we covered 1,600+ miles with bikes on the rack, gear piled high, and a vision of showing up fully at the final Roam Fest. We stopped at Arches National Park, twice. It was Amber’s first time in Utah and Colorado, core memories were created!
Moments That Stood Out
🌄 Sunrises soaks with desert light stretching across the mesas.
🎶 Dance parties that reminded us joy is just as important as grit.
🎤 In-the-moment podcast convos with women who felt the importance of this festival as much as us, if not more.
🤝 Strangers who became instant friends over shared stoke.
These are the moments that made Roam Fest more than just an event, they made it unforgettable. Check out our Voices of Roam interviews here.
Sponsor Shoutouts 💛
The heartbeat of this journey was made possible thanks to sponsors who didn’t just support us—they believed in us.
Title Nine – Backing women who break the mold, you powered more than just jerseys.
Saris – The Edge 2 carried our bikes 1,600+ miles of the journey, safe and secure.
Exped – MegaMats = mega comfort. Thanks for keeping us cozy (and for an epic giveaway that stoked the whole crew).
Tahoe Mountain Sports – From Goal Zero power stations to gear that keeps us moving, you kept camp charged and my off-grid life rolling strong into fall.
Shredly – Your colorful, functional gear brought joy and confidence to the trails and fit the Roam vibe perfectly.
Salsa Cycles – Built for adventure, your bikes reminded us why we show up: to explore, to push limits, and to keep rolling no matter what.
These brands didn’t just send gear or funds—they stood behind the vision of creating inclusive, empowering spaces in the outdoors.
Why It Matters
The last-ever Roam Fest may be behind us, but this isn’t the end. It’s a passing of the torch. The community that gathered in Fruita will continue shaping the future of femme riding spaces through local rides, new events, and everyday moments of courage.
Roam showed us that there’s no one “right way” to show up in the outdoor world. You can be bold, messy, joyful, strong, soft—whatever feels true to you. And that’s what I’ll carry forward from here.
